Brown Animation Studios is a production company and animation academy planned for the NCT Plex Christian Campus by its Founder, Elder Jessica Reid. Brown Animation Studios is a premier creative television and film network, with an attached animation academy dedicated to producing multi-cultural animations that inspire, educate, equip, and entertain families. Rooted in Christian values and family integrity, the studio intends to provide a safe, joyful space for children to experience wholesome, kid-appropriate comedy and creativity as they grow and develop. By reflecting the rich diversity of God’s creation, the network ensures that every child can see themselves represented in stories that uplift and encourage.

This studio is proudly dedicated to the celebration and advancement of culturally relevant animation and storytelling that reflects the beauty of diversity, representation, faith, family, and community. Through imaginative characters and meaningful stories, the studio seeks to create a space where children and families from every cultural and ethnic background can see themselves represented with dignity, creativity, purpose, and possibility.

Our vision honors the positive influence of cartoons and animated storytelling that have helped generations understand different cultures, embrace individuality, develop character, and appreciate the richness of the world around them. The studio carries that legacy forward by championing inclusive storytelling, positive representation, educational creativity, and culturally meaningful entertainment—using animation not simply to entertain, but to inspire young people to dream boldly, respect others, discover their gifts, and recognize that every story, culture, and child has value.

We envision Brown Animation Studios to be a leading global voice in faith-based children’s and family entertainment, cultivating a generation of grounded children in faith, cultural appreciation, and strong family bonds through the power of world-class animation coupled with the teachings of Jesus Christ through the Word of God.

To deliver high-quality, multicultural cartoons that champion Christian principles and family integrity. We are committed to producing wholesome comedy and engaging narratives that spark faith, love, joy, and curiosity in children of all backgrounds.

The vibrant storytelling of Brown Animation Studios is born from a profound, inter-generational partnership between Elder Jessica C. Reid and her beloved mother, Min. Walease M. Robinson-Reid. Min. Robinson-Reid assisted greatly in laying the undeniable groundwork for this creative universe through the years of her creative works in her home and community. A devoted wife and mother of six, her multifaceted life encompassed deeply impactful roles as a Christian preacher, Youth Director, Sunday School teacher, playwright, author, and former Human Resources Manager for Old Dominion University, alongside a myriad of other vital leadership roles and responsibilities. The rich tapestry of her diverse professional and spiritual experiences imbues Brown Animation Studios authentic heart, familial warmth, and profound narrative depth. Honoring and following in this extraordinary legacy, Elder Jessica Reid brings purpose-driven leadership to the studio, drawing from her sense of humor, specialized background in law and nonprofit organizations, animation development, script-writing, along with her deep roots in ministry and community initiatives. Today, mother and daughter collaborate seamlessly on various upcoming projects, bridging foundational wisdom with dynamic vision to ensure that their shared inspirational spirit breathes life into every character for the building of faith and family.
