We envision New Clark Temple Church (NCT) as a Christ-centered ministry in which God is glorified in every dimension of our worship, leadership, service, stewardship, outreach, and community life. We envision a ministry with a God-sized vision and a Kingdom-centered heart—one that requires faith, prayer, obedience, courage, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit. We believe that authentic vision should extend beyond what can be accomplished through human ability alone and compel us to trust God for the wisdom, provision, people, and resources necessary to fulfill His purposes. “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37 (KJV)

We envision New Clark Temple Church (NCT) as a ministry firmly committed to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission as the biblical foundation of our worship, discipleship, service, outreach, and community engagement. These mandates define both who we are as followers of Jesus Christ and how we fulfill our Kingdom assignment.

In Matthew 22:37–40, Jesus commands us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves. At NCT, this love must extend beyond words into visible expressions of compassion, holiness, generosity, mercy, reconciliation, justice, and service. Loving our neighbors means recognizing their God-given value and responding faithfully to the spiritual and practical needs of individuals, families, and communities.

In Matthew 28:18–20, Jesus gives the Great Commission, commanding His followers to go, make disciples of all nations, baptize them, and teach them to observe His commandments. Therefore, our responsibility extends beyond evangelism. We seek to develop spiritually mature disciples who know Christ, understand His Word, demonstrate His character, discover their God-given purpose, and are equipped to serve others.

Our mission begins within our homes and communities but extends throughout our region, nation, and world. Through evangelism, missions, Christian education, community development, leadership training, media, technology, humanitarian service, and strategic partnerships, we seek to proclaim the Gospel while demonstrating the transforming love of Jesus Christ across cultures and generations.

We are equally committed to generational discipleship. We desire to equip children, youth, young adults, families, ministry leaders, and future generations to become biblically grounded, spiritually mature, compassionate, and prepared for Kingdom service. Our vision is not simply to build a ministry for today, but to establish a spiritual legacy capable of impacting generations yet to come.

The Great Commandment teaches us how to love; the Great Commission directs us to go, disciple, and teach. Together, they shape the heart of NCT: loving God, loving people, proclaiming Jesus Christ, making disciples, developing leaders, strengthening families, serving communities, and carrying the Gospel beyond the walls of the church—from our community to the nations and from this generation to the next.

We envision a spiritually healthy ministry committed to cultivating healthy relationships with God and with one another. Through prayer, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, fellowship, accountability, compassion, and service, we seek to nurture a church community in which believers can grow together in spiritual maturity.

Our desire is to develop a culture characterized by grace, truth, integrity, reconciliation, mutual respect, and genuine Christian fellowship. As Scripture teaches, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35 (KJV)

We envision New Clark Temple as a place where the hurting, discouraged, disappointed, lonely, confused, burdened, and spiritually lost can encounter the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. We seek to proclaim faithfully the authentic Word of God while creating a ministry environment where people can experience compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, biblical guidance, encouragement, restoration, and hope.

We envision a ministry that gives people in our neighborhoods, communities, region, nation, and throughout the world opportunities to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Evangelism and missions will not simply be programs of the church; they will remain fundamental expressions of who we are.

We desire to use every biblically faithful avenue available to us—including personal evangelism, missions, community outreach, education, media, technology, humanitarian service, partnerships, and global ministry—to communicate the Gospel across cultures and generations.

The preaching and teaching ministry of NCT will remain firmly rooted in Scripture. We are committed to faithfully explaining and applying God’s Word through sound biblical teaching, including systematic and expository preaching, so that people are not merely inspired but equipped to understand and live according to biblical truth. “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season…” — 2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV)

We envision a worshiping church where people gather regularly to glorify God through prayer, Scripture, preaching, music, fellowship, the ordinances, and expressions of worship that are biblically grounded while thoughtfully engaging both historic and contemporary Christian traditions.
