NCT LEGACY LEADERSHIP HONORED
Honoring the Legacy of Past Leaders at NCT
At NCT Christian Campus, we proudly honor the enduring legacies of our revered leaders: Bishop Monroe J. Clark, Bishop John R. Savage, Bishop Jesse Featherston, Sr., and Bishop Anthony B. Rodgers. Each of these remarkable individuals has profoundly shaped our campus community through their unwavering dedication to faith, service, and spiritual growth within their own individual ministries. Their commitment echoes the teachings of Scripture, reminding us of the importance of love and service in our lives. As stated in Galatians 5:13 (NIV), “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” This call to service has been a guiding principle for our NCT campus leadership, inspiring us all to empower others and uplift the community through the finished works of Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, their dedication reflects the wisdom of Proverbs 11:25 (NIV): “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” This truth illustrates how their selfless acts of service have enriched the lives of countless others in the community and the Body of Christ. The legacy they have built aligns with the message of Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV), which urges us to work wholeheartedly, as if for the Lord, rather than for human masters. Their lives exemplify this principle, motivating us to pursue our mission with great passion, faith, and purpose.
In honoring their contributions, we are reminded of our responsibility to carry forward the mission of Jesus Christ through the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. We carry their legacy and example of faith, service, and spiritual growth within our community.
As we honor the foundational legacies of Bishop Monroe J. Clark, Bishop John R. Savage, Bishop Jesse Featherston, Sr., and Bishop Anthony B. Rodgers, we reflect upon their profound contributions to our institution and faith community. Their lives exemplify dedication, service, and love, leaving an indelible mark that continues to inspire us all on the NCT Christian Campus today. We pledge and strive to uphold these biblical principles, values, and scriptural mandates.
This rich spiritual heritage is deeply personal to the campus Founder and Visionary, Elder Jessica Reid, whose life and ministry were directly shaped by the profound investment of each of these leaders. Her spiritual foundation was established during her formative years under the visionary leadership of Bishop Monroe J. Clark at the original New Clark Temple Holiness Church. She was saved under the leadership of Elder Paul H. Arrington, then later affirmed her faith through baptism administered by Bishop John R. Savage, marking a pivotal step of initiation in her spiritual journey. As her calling deepened, she was mentored, equipped, and officially licensed into the ministry under the distinguished guidance of Bishop Jesse Featherston, Sr. Ultimately, she was entrusted with the pulpit and introduced to public preaching by Bishop Anthony B. Rodgers, who cultivated her voice and empowered her to boldly declare the Gospel.
Alongside serving such remarkable leadership, Elder Jessica C. Reid, Visionary of the NCT Campus and its Community Multi-Plex Center, has intentionally committed to ensuring that the teachings of Jesus Christ and the uncompromising Word of God remain the cornerstone of this institution and campus. The NCT Christian Campus will actively honor the divine standards and visionary works of Jesus Christ by fostering a community of faithful impact. The Word of God will continually serve as a guiding light for all future generations here at the NCT Christian Campus. Together, we celebrate extraordinary achievements and remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing the legacy of faith and selfless service modeled by Jesus Christ.
